1974 Dodge Dart Hang Ten Survivor

Well as much as I hate to sell this car I need to make room for my next winter project.

I purchased this car last month after watching it for 11 years and have driven it over 1000 miles already, it’s a great driver!

If you’re looking for a Mopar that gets great gas mileage and will more than likely be the only Hang Ten at any car show you go to this is the car for you.

This car is an original survivor with 73K mikes, body is rock solid.

• 225 slant six
• Rare Red Shag carpet is in great shape and not faded or torn
• Dash is mint, under dash harness looks like new, never apart or cut.
• Driver seat has two seams that have split but can be stitched
• SS Trim is better than most restored cars
• Trunk looks like new, spare may never been out of the car and I don’t think the jack was ever used.
• Starts easy and runs great
• All lights are bright and work the way they should
• Front suspension is tight and tracks down the road straight

I’m looking to get 12K OBO

I know a lot of people think 12K may be high for a six banger, but find another limited production car that is original in this condition.

A lot of restored cars on the market, how many survivors?

It's a Dart Sport, Duster's didn't have the Hang 10 option.
Just trying to help......
Beautiful car BTW!

Dusters did have hang ten option. There were very few of them. My friend has one and it is very rare with the 360 and roll away sunroof. It's been decoded and its a hang ten. Supposedly they only made like 25 with the sunroof.

I thought I saw you and your wife (Mary?) cruising Woodward in it. My family and I were at the Blarney Stone (just north of 11 Mile). Tried to get your attention, but who could hear! Snapped a few pictures of your car at the Gratiot cruise a couple of weeks ago. Looks good!

The Duster was available with a sunroof and fold down rear seat called the space duster, They are not Hang 10s though, Hang 10s were only Dart Sports and they didnt all have sunroofs.

100% correct Adam.
The Hang 10 Dart Sport will also have an A63 code on the fender tag and broadcast sheet. 3,259 were produced for U.S. in '74 (all engines). They're pretty rare.
BTW, i have a car identical to the one for sale, '74, /6, A63. It's in rough but restorable shape, they could be sisters other than condition.
Here's a free bump for a nice car!

Thanks Dan!

we did see you at the last second by the Blarnet Stone, trafic going north was crazy so we shot up crooks back to 15 mile area.

It's tough out there. No one wants to part with their money. I was really fortunate
and sold my dart within a weeks posting on Craigslist so maybe I let it go a little
too cheap, but it did sell.

It's an awesome car, had one similar years ago I hope you sell it.

I'll give you a free bump. This is one of the coolest cars I've seen on here. You can probably count on one hand how many of these things are still in this kind of shape.
