At 12 dad said “Tear this 318 apart”.I was hooked.
:banghead:....Mopeople.....My 66 Valiant was vandalized about 2 weeks ago. It's a total loss. There ARE a number of salvageable parts.
That said....I am selling whats left.
I'll try to list as much as I can, but I may not get everything, if you have a question about anything I don't list, feel free to ask.
Starting from the front:
Chrome hood latch and hood latch support brace.
Front bumper was re chromed a few years ago...still in good shape.
Lower grill filler panel..chrome
Filler panel from bumper to grill...painted body color
Hood hinges...chromed..need some elbow grease to clean up.
D.S. Fender....scratched, but not dented.
P.S. Fender....scratched and a crease in the wheel lip...repairable..I think.
Top door channel chrome...both sides
Drip rails are ok....dont know how to remove them.
D.S. rear window trim piece with Valiant emblem embossed in it.
Gas cap.
Window "A" pillars..rechromed with wing window hardware...glass was broken out.
Rear window window tracks..polished.
D.S. rear pillar chrome piece...the one that goes from the rear window to the back window.
Both rear tailights..sorry no lenses, broken out.
Trunk emblem
Rear bumper..rechromed the same time the front was...good shape.
Trunk lid...profanity scratched into it but no dents.
Both doors are a bit dinged up, the door handles and mirrors were broken off, D.S. door is sprung...dont know it its the hinges, or the door itsself, but if someone wanted to try....
NOW for the INSIDE.
The entire dash was chromed, no gauges, but the glove box door comes with. The center trim pieces are mostly there, but painted black.
The seat trim pieces were chromed, including the rear pans. One piece on the outside d.s. seat was bent up. Pans are dinged a little.
Steering column is chromed. Turn signal lever is bent up, has a Grant wood grain steering wheel.
Various knobs.
Original radio is intact..dont know if it works though, have bezel for it Overhead door trim was rechromed, front pillar trim is painted body color.
Trim pieces for the top of the door panels, both sides.
Rear panel trim piece, both sides.
Trim piece that goes partially behind the back seat, both sides, chromed.
UNDERNEATH
It has a tube frame front chassis with disc brakes, and rack and pinion. It all goes together.
The diff is 8 3/4 that has been narrowed, the car was mini tubbed, so the springs were moved in, super stock springs. Gears dont come with it. It does have a rear disc conversion kit. All or pieces.
All I can think of right now. I am located in Kerrville, Texas, about an hour northwest of San Antonio.
If you might be interested, I would be willing to sell the whole car complete, minus engine and trans.
