Getting ready to install the steering column, but ran into a small problem that was solved using the 'search' feature here at FABO. I decided to rebuild the steering coupler with all new parts purchase for about 12.00 dollars from my local Mopar dealer. It included the shoes, spring and misc. roll pins, as well as the upper seal and seal retainer. Here is where the problem arose; trying to get the upper seal retainer tabs bent so that the upper seal would not 'pop' loose and throw grease everywhere. Try as I might the tabs would not hold to the coupler satisfactorily. Finally after beating the retainer to the point where it could not be used, I threw up my hands in frustration and decided I would do a 'search' on FABO and see if anyone else had some suggestions on how to assemble the coupler correctly without the retainer popping off the first time the steering wheel was turned. Low and behold I found someone going through the same issues, and another member 'rmchrgr' providing a solution. I ordered this simple seal from steerandgear.com and the problem was solved! Thanks FABO for providing a way to search out answers to problems we run into with our rebuilds!

Also some pictures of the new driveshaft. Ben.
