Howdy!

As I already "announced" in another Mopar-forum, i want to post my photos from the 2012 Mopar Nationals in Herten, Germany.

It was an fantastic weekend, and i'm damn excited about the 2013 Mopar Nationals!! ;-)

I made two albums. The first one includes the photos of the Meeting itself, and the second one includes the photos of the "Drag-Racing" (no times, no wheelstands, just 2 cars roaring down the "strip") on a airfield in Marl, Germany.

Thanks for the show! You've got lots of nice Mopars in Germany. I had a 69 Bee
close to the tan one. I always like a good car show! tmm
 
Looked up Images of Herten on the web and it's a beautiful town. I noticed a half dozen pictures of mopars spread throughout the photos and a picture of the Nationals from 2011. How far from Frankfurt is it? I also noticed someone slipped in a picture of a Camaro, LOL.

It is about 2 1/2 hours, and 250km away from Frankfurt.

Great photography of some super nice mopars! I love seeing the hobby alive and well in other countries. You guys sure have long water boxes though ..... :)

I was born in Helmstadt Germany, and still have alot of family, aunts, uncles, cousins, in Helmstadt! I grew up spending my summers there are at my Omi and Opa's house. My lifelong dream is too ship my Duster over and spend a month touring and revisiting places. As a kid I would walk around Helmstadt taking pictures of German Hot Rods. I have full albums of cool Opels, VW's etc. thanks for sharing your pics and making me jealous!
 
Amazing there are still big fat American V-8's over there in the land of $7-8 gallon gas (although it is way better than we have) Very cool! Funny behavior of the photobucket slideshow, seems to show random images of the same shot, not in the order of the graph on the bottom? But that aint' your fault....:)
 
I like those old plymouth station wagons grill wonder what kind of powerhouse they had under the hood. When i was a kid i thought they where family spaceships haha. Thanks
 
Hi, that´s funny....i live near Würzburg were also Helmstadt is not far away (25 KM from there). So if you ever come to my country i´ll take you for a ride :D!

Why don't you visit Germany around the time of the Mopar Nationals?
So that you can see your old hometown, take a look at Germany and visit a Mopar Meet in a couple days! What about that idea?

@1972DusterPaul : There were some indeed! Just couldn't catch em' on camera, because of all the Mopar's! :D

@pishta : Really? That sucks! I really invested 2-3 hours into that albums, and now Photobucket doesn't work as it should :(
