It's cool. The sheer size of the USA and our spread-out population compared to Japan and Europe, and therefore the cost and practicality, are big reasons why we don't have the bullet trains.
Yeah true, just it be so nice to travel quickly...I could get to Chicago or Toronto under 2 hours
Maybe Obama is wasting money-well he is, ha ha but heck I rather fund Amtrak vs NATO or NASA

If you read the story it was only for 10 mins and likely will not be happening anytime soon...least gas prices are finally dropping, now if gas could only get under $3..$2.50 would be so nice
