Fall Fling Picture Thread!

Loved that Daytona with the Romney/Ryan campaign sign in the window. I left at 11:30, damn annoying rain pissed me off. Car shows really need some sun to show off the cars, and there were plenty of nice ones there. This was the first one I spent less than $11 bucks at..really. Battery box for 7 and I "tipped" a nice '65 "A" guy 3 $1's for allowing me to take a bunch of small parts out of a junk box for free. Walked away from an entire 4sp setup from a 64 "A" from the flywheel to the driveshaft for $300, and missed a new CSR water pump for $100 by about 2 minutes. I went back for it but it was bought. There were not 1 but 2 Petty "bathtub" crossram intakes and a "1 of 100" 4 Weber intake for a hemi. Not 1 SBP "sombrero" Rally center cap though! Still a good turnout for the weather.
I only spent $10. I had an arrangement with a moparts member to pick up a shaft and coupler out of a power steering column. I felt that's a better deal than trying to find a floor shift ps column for $150-200. I saw a couple nice seats but didn't want to fork over $100 because I already have nice looking seats. Plus I needed parts to fix my car and get it safe instead of looking into upgrades just yet. The rain didn't bother me much at all. It was very light. If my Dart was running and driving I wouldn't have cared less. But for a drizzly morning it was a good turnout. I really wanted to see if Jay Leno was going to come. I guess not. :(

sweet. did you happen to see ANY blower/supercharger parts of any nature??
I only briefly walked through the swap area because I didn't want to really spend much money but I do remember a couple of blower's out there. I didn't pay too much attention to them, but they were there.

Great pics MuuMuu.....Thanks for taking the time to post 'em :iconbigg:

Couple of my faves that I saved
Those were pretty nice cars. I've never seen an early A-body in plum crazy. I kind of liked it. And that Road Runner/Sebring is a "survivorish" car. If you look at the picture preceding or following, there's a bad interior shot of the original interior. It has white/tan seats with red/plaude centers. Very unusual. I was also surprised there weren't too many Demons. Only a couple 72's pictured but that was it.

Great pics!! Damn, this Duster looks JUST like my cousin's, except his has a snorkel scoop.
Awesome!!! It was a pretty cool Duster.

There were lots of nice cars there. I was drooling over most of the Darts. Actually, that Australian Valiant Charger was brought over by my friend Quite a few years ago (2005ish) I think. I know one of them has been in a bad accident but I can't recall which one. And that A100 was ridiculously decked out. All of the 50's cars were nice!

I was talking to the owner of this car about half the time I was there. He just finished the car, took it on a 6000 mile cross country trip from Arizona to Connecticut and back, and is now taking another 1800 mile trip up to San Fran and back down. He's actually a member here.
