Yes, they are still LA block/motor, they just came from the factory with roller cams. I would've gone that route had 1. I known about them when I was looking for a motor and 2. If I didn't pay next to dirt for my 340 I'd have bought a 360 roller block.

Just one thing to add to this info. The magnum motor is also a roller cam,but the intake is unique and it wont accept LA intakes. Many aftermarket intakes have both LA and Magnum bolt patterns though.

Too bad Ma Mopar discontinued the big block before it had a chance to become a roller cam motor. Can you imagine where the mopar big blocks prgression would be if it had not been discontinued?
