Hey Fabio. I'm in the process of taking out the front suspension. I came across dillininger chassis. Does anyone have any of their components? Or does anyone have any feedback? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!:burnout:

I was just looking at them yesterday!! Sounds great to me but have never heard of them. A lot cheaper than magnum force!! I came across Dillinger the other day on this forum. I think the owner is a member, it was in mechanical parts for sale! Good luck! I think I am going to get their parts, my buddy looked at it and said they look great quality. I really want to build my 65 Barracuda into a canyon carver!!!

John Dillinger is a member here. His name is Badart. While I have not used any of his components John is a great guy who does his best to make sure his customers are satisfied. I think you will find his products to be excellent.

Need to spend a bit more time here and you would have heard of Dillinger.....

I am currently installing this system on a buddy's Dart with him. Quality pieces, good guy who stands behind his product. So far, we couldn't ask for more. Once we get it out on the road, we will have more of a foot to stand on. So far so good though.

Also, I have his tubular upper controls arms on my '73 Dart and they are awesome pieces. Highly recommend them.

Have his lower control arms, coil over adapters and shock tower hoop kit in my daily driver Valiant. Would've bought his uca's but I'd already purchased RMS uppers before he made his upppers.

Works like a dream and have no problems or complaints. Been driving on it for almost 3 months now.

Just wondering what you are using for bump stops? Are they just collars on the shocks? Thanks...

I've dealt with John, he's a great guy. I've seen his work here for years and it's always top notch. When he started offering products, I didn't hesitate.

I've got Johns stuff also, really high quality and he's a great guy to deal with.

I think i'm now sold on this suspension setup. Those pictures look very clean. Did it come with instructions for modifiying the K-member and shock length recomendation?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. There have been growing pains and I really appreciate everyone's patience. I am working on detailed instructions for the lower control arm install, but have them for the uppers. It's hard to find time with a regular job, family and sleep. Here is a video I made a few months ago that goes over the basics. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_48MOeET6C0"]Mopar A Body tubular lower control arms, coilover conversion.mov - YouTube[/ame]

They are slip-on style rubber that slide over the shock shaft. I tried to order a set of QA1 stops from Summit as for some reason QA1 doesn't include them in their kits, but they were on backorder for over a month!
I ended up going to the local parts store, finding something similar....ie, help section, then opened up the middle to slide over the shaft. Works great so far.

I still need to get some bump stops for the uppers though :geek:

Safe to assume what you used form the help section is just a rubber doughnut of sorts? Wondering if something from King or Sway-A-Way uses on there off road shocks might work?

Yeah, I still have the box actually. Part number 31019 DormanHELP! brand. Shock and end link bushings.

There's four pieces in the package and I used the shock bushings. I think they were 1 1/4" OD and 1/2" ID. I just rounded out the inside with a round wood file until they fit snuggly on the shaft. Haven't had a prob yet.

Autozone has some EnergySuspension Shock mount bushings that looked like they might've worked good.

Being I had a $30 gift cert from Summit I ordered the QA1 stops but like I said, they were on backorder and just kept pushing it back, there was no certain time they said they would be in.....and, I needed something NOW. So this was the quick fix. When I order some shorter c/o springs I'll see if any are in, but until then, these work just as good.
