So I have cleaned all ground connections, rewired bulkhead connections, replaced ballast resistor, new coil.
this is a 318 with electronic ignition.
Problem, car will run for about 5 minutes then completely die when spark is check there is none. any ideas the only thing I can think of is the ignition module.:banghead:

Clean and ground the ECU

Suspect the COIL

Check the supply voltage

cleaned and grounded ecu, replaced coil, still same results, cleaned grounds under dash also, same results, Question do the ECU units fail this way.

i went to an HEI set-up and never looked back. ditched the mopar ballast, coil and ECU

make sure your battery to block to body grounds are solid

yep the ignition box can heat up and fail. Cool and work again. Coil can also. Either will often tell on itself. Coil leak oil, ignition modules melt the gel coat on the back.

I can solve ALL those possible problems in one shot, and upgrade you to high energy ignition at the same time.
Afterwards you can toss the coil, ballast, and mopar ignition box.

www.classichei.com and two/three day shipping.

And you would be another one that will never look back.

After continued looking I found the the magenetic pick up is not secure it appears that the screw holding it down will not tighten.
