Guys I know posts such as this are being brought out constantly but I have to ask. I have a co-worker(s) who are into street machines/muscle and constantly ask me how much HP I think my setup is getting. So to just give me some kind of estimate can anyone give me some thoughts. I just tell them 250HP but let's what you guys think.

318
Milled heads
Fresh Rebuild
Comp Cams 260H
Edelbrock 650 Carb
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Stock manifolds
Dual Dynomax Turbo Mufflers
 
I think your in the ball park at 250. Only way to really figure it out would be to put it on the dyno, while your there you could really max out the power by doing some tuning.
 
Depends if your talking Net or Gross Numbers but 250 gross hp sounds about right.
 
I'm going to say 270HP

I'm basing this on the fact that a stock 2bbl 318 over here in Australia was 230hp and responded REALLY well to a 4bbl swap.

some headers would be your next step and would possibly get you around 285hp or there abouts.
 
318 gross hp numers were 230hp

Well I doubt I'll ever go headers since they came be a real pain for maintenance. My co-workers are all into HP while I'm more interested in torque.

You could upgrade to 340 or 5.9 or 360 manifold for a little hp bump.
