Congrats on the job offer Steve! I knew you would get it. I made a big career change a few years ago. I left a good paying unionized job that I had for over 15 years to go to a non-unionized auto plant that payed more money. I regret leaving my old job.... but your case is different in the fact that your employer is laying you off and leaving you out of work. You have a huge decision to make and I know exactly how you feel. Taking the job in Manitoba would be great experience, which in the future could lead to bigger and better jobs closer to home. Alot too think about... Just don't over think the whole situation or your brain will:violent2:! In times like these I tend to ask the man upstairs for guidance. Good luck and I know you will do great no matter what you decide!!

Hey Steve, I would love you to stick around with the Ontario boys but you gotta do what you gotta do. Sounds like the Manitoba job is right up your ally. Good luck with what ever you choose.
 
Congrats Steve, I knew things would work out. My brother commutes to the job he loves, London On to north of Fort Mcmoney Alt. every 2 weeks... ya got to do what ya got to do. Keep positive and keep us posted.... good luck
