The future of Hot Rodding/Muscle cars ect?

Yea.. I think if I were you guys I would be more concerned about how the Government is going to dictate to us what to do with our cars. Gas at $10.00gal, forcing us to buy electric cars, and tightening emission controls could leave us all with cars that were worth oonce $10,000.00 will leave us with nothing more than worthless steel paper weights sitting in our garage.

Points to Ponder..

In 20 years, I may have an electric/hybrid governmentomobile, but I'll be savin my vacation money for whatever passes for hi-test, and I'll spend 2 weeks doin burnouts at Salem 4 corners,..and pressin pedal to the metal on Rt 11,....then I'll save for another 50 weeks so's I can do It all again,...My gas v8's will never be garage statues,....And my Duster never sold for 10k and it will never be worth 10k,....no matter how much "numbers matching green paint and 14" trim rings" you put on it...

When I die, my "old" cars will go to someone who will treat em like I do,(that means primer and burnouts),...old school hot rods...

Today, kids are growin up with your 10 year old Jeeps, Explorers, Honda's, and Huyundai's,...thats what they're being given as "hand me downs",...Prolly a third of hot rodding is done with a laptop,.....My first car was a 69 barracuda fastback that you could see clear through to the other side, that car was so rusted that my dad gave it to me when he lost the gas tank, spare tire and chains on the highway, (that car was only 6 years old),...My version of "hot rodding" was primer, Cragers, Thrush mufflers, and a bigger carb,....

Can't say if any will be around tho,...raise yer hand if you remember Cosworth Vega's, Monza's, 024's and TC3's, turbo Capri's, Heavy Chevies, Ford Lightnings, etc, etc.,...long since recycled, yer shavin with most of em these days..,.

Today, Its all plastic and computers,....You'll remember this and laugh when you see a 2018 Electric Fiat Ram fly by you, driven by a kid who loves his 12 year old truck and his newly installed flux capacitors,.....I'm pretty sure that Hot rodding may change, but It will never die...
