Anyone try Dynamat, HushMat or others?

Raam Mat cannot be beat for the price. Whatever you decide to use, make sure to use a Butyl rubber product for sound insulation. Roofing rubber is fine below 80* but once it heats up up above 80* it omits a rather strong odor similar to freshly paved asphalt or tar & is not pleasant nor does it dissipate quickly.

GREAT suggestion on the heat/cheap roofing stuff being smelly. I would have never even thought of that!
