Anyone try Dynamat, HushMat or others?

Raam Mat cannot be beat for the price. Whatever you decide to use, make sure to use a Butyl rubber product for sound insulation. Roofing rubber is fine below 80* but once it heats up up above 80* it omits a rather strong odor similar to freshly paved asphalt or tar & is not pleasant nor does it dissipate quickly.

I thought that might have been a problem too... BUT I live in South Fla where temps reach over 100* at times and I have left my convertible top down with car in direct sunlight. I have never smelled anything since I installed the "cheaper stuff". Note- I do have a sound deadner as well.

Hey... if you got the $ buy the good stuff. If you are looking for other options, the Peel Seal cost me about 1/2 the price and I didnt have to pay shipping. Drove to Home Depot and picked up 4 rolls- had it all in that afternoon. JMO
