The 15" wheel is better for ride due to a taller tire sidwall offering more "give", and for the same reason, the 17" wheel will offer better handling because of a shorter, stiffer tire sidewall. Your choice of coilover spring rate on the AlterKtion will also have an effect on both ride and handling. It's all a compromise on what you're looking for.
