I failed at posting this the right way last time so heres another go. Im Selling my 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger, it has a 225 slant 6 727 torqueflite transmission. It is a SALVAGED titled car, i personally have no idea as to why. the frame looks straight the interior seats looks really good also. The driver door has a dent in it but i have an extra drivers door to go with it. It has a quarter sized if not smaller rust hole and some surface rust. I am asking $1200 but i thats just my asking number so dont be scared off give me an decent offer and you could have it. i am in a really tight pinch with money right now. and i would really not rather sell it but i need to. :wack: i am located in west covina, ca 20 minutes east of los angeles and 20 minutes west of ontario. thanks for reading this.

Is it really a 727?

Yeah, I agree - I think there may have been some slant 6 727's in trucks but I am probably wrong. Personally every slanty auto that I have seen in almost 30 years of chasing mopars has been a 904 torqueflite. It is an A/C car though, with the 26" rad, probably a fan shroud, and MAY have an 8 3/4 (I think with A/C you got the heavy duty cooling package, which came as part of the trailer package but again, I am probably wrong). Great price, you should have no trouble selling the car.

Never seen a 727 slant in an a-body. They did come in trucks and vans though. This is a non a/c car. Skinny aftermarket tank 22 inch radiator. Could possibly have an 8 3/4. Was a popular option with the power disk brakes and yes, part of the tow package.

Yes, you are right. I stand corrected. Must have not had my glasses on when I was looking at the pics...

I'm not saying it was factory, but I bought a 74 Valiant parts car a few years ago that had a slant, 727 and 8 1/4" rear with bbp power discs in front.
