wtb 4 to 2 bolt mastr cyl adapter

Keep shopping. I have seen them for $35 to $45. 2 different types depending on if your brake braket has studs or holes (depends on the year, you didn't tell us). I am too cheap, so just drilled 2 holes thru my firewall/bracket to mount a ~95 Breeze ABS MC in my Valiant. Haven't installed yet, so hope it works.

all these places sell the one i liked to.. Mancini Racing, Hughes Engines, Bob Mazzolini Racing, Mayo Performance, FBO Systems, Moparts Parts and Supplies, Doctor Diff, Firm Feel, Reilly Motorsports, Richard Ehrenberg

That's the way I do it too, the only thing is you need to open up the hole in the firewall a little for the aluminum master.

Yes I like your response I am also cheap, do yo have a recommendation for a late model mc that would work in that situation?

Cut off the mounting pad of an old MC, grind/mill it flush (I use a lathe for this) and enlarge the center hole to the new MC size.
Use the new Mc as a template to drill 2 new holes in the plate. Tap some threads in them. Done.

I had the opposite problem. The opening in the firewall of my 64 Valiant is bigger (kind of square), so I used a big washer between the new MC and firewall to cover the gap. I cut white foam from electronics packaging for gaskets (RTV would also work).

I got a new MC for a 95-99? Breeze (or any "cloud car") w/ ABS off ebay for ~$25. I used that because already using on my Dart. The ABS version has a F & R port that are inverted flare for 3/16" tube. The non-ABS MC has more ports, so would have to plug some. Later MC's have ports for bubble-flare, which you could make (see youtube), but why bother.

I was wrong about the hole being too small, it's actually too big no grinding required. Bill's right the aluminum master cyl doesn't quite cover the hole. Must have been thinking of something else.

Drilling through the firewall ? That's donkey ! Get the adapter and do it right.

I almost cried about drilling two 3/8"D holes in the firewall, but then I saned up. A judge at a car show might fuss about my dual MC not being original, but I put safety first. Anyway, I don't pay $30 to enter a car show and sit all day while people diss my work.

That's what the internet is for these days.
You can still sit all day and let people diss your work just as easy. But you save $30...! :D
