I getting around to painting the tailpanel for my '67 Dart GT 'vert, and need to know about the "Textured Argent Silver" thats applied between the raised, polished ribs.
Thanks for bringing up this topic Val. I thought that the textured surface was anodized, but you are correct, it’s a coating. My tail panel is also in need of some minor dent & ding removal, and freshening up, I have been wondering how to go about it. The thought of dropping a load of dough to find a nice one, or sending it out for restoration is too much to spend for lipstick. But, careful straighten, and painting is within my budget.
Hopefully 3M has correct width masking tape to mask the polished ribs.
