1967 Dart GT tailpanel silver?

I thought that the textured surface was anodized, but you are correct, it’s a coating.

wjr...the entire panel is anodized...the factory just painted the Textured Silver over the anodizing. I was hoping to mask the "valleys", clear-coat the rib areas, then mask the ribs and paint the textured silver on the valleys.

I had my panel completely straightened and polished. The anodizing was applied to protect the shine on the ribs.
