i have been kicking this idea around a long time. what i was thinking of doing is to take a later A body that is basically a rust bucket. Then cut the hell out of it keeping only the main body. next take random mopar parts from the icons, like 69 charger, 79 1/2 super bee, cuda, challenger..... and fabing them onto the body. Drop in a huge stroker motor for strip only and call it the mopar monster. i tried to start this project once and my landlord made me scrap it because his insurance wouldn't cover a car in that shape lol. I wont start it again until im done with the duster just wondering what your thoughts ideas would be and if anyone has saw one like that before.
 
Styling cues from some of the icons.....scoops, spoilers, stripes, wheels, etc.....Yes.... But i'm having a real hard time visualizing grafted body panels that would look like anything but a abortion. Sorry, just my opinion :D. Maybe you could change my mind, idk.
 
lol no you got the right idea only thing i was thinking on the body was like maybe charger r/t doors or maybe rally challenger ones something like that but was mostly talking grill, taillights, hoods and the like.
 
i never put together a full concept just threw some ideas together in my head i should do some photo chop work lol
 
rear idea with cuda lights had to go black and white to fix color used three different pics

Ok, gotcha.......i better understand now. I had visions of a Volare fender, early Cuda door, 72 Valiant quarter and a SuperBird wing....lol. Would be cool to play with some ideas though. I don't have or have ever used Photoshop, but if any ideas pop into my head, i'll pass them along :thumleft:.
 
I would do the 70 R/T Charger door scoops
daytona stye fender scallops
Cuda billboards with engine callout
Demon taillights at far edge and then take another pair and mount another driverside to passengerside and other passenger side to match driverside so that it is
so that on one side red is on outside and reverse together in center and red on outside
 
All those ideas are pretty cool. Reminds me of the concept car theme that the factories played with. The door on the Duster looks pretty swift considering it's just a rough draft.
 
I say do It,...I'm all about different,....just so long as you don't paint it sublime green or sassyfrass yellow or purple,....(cause we've never seen that before)....

just be forewarned, there are a lot of purists here who prolly would raise holy hell
