It truly amazes me what the police WON'T do sometimes. Seriously though, since this is an international issue, the FBI should be able to help. There's also a guy out here, Tom Martino known as the "troubleshooter" who may be able to help and there's also numerous news "Tip Lines". Let me see what I can find out for you and of course, they'll need details....

I don't see why you 2 got your panties in a bunch ,I'm not being high and mighty I'm suggesting that there seems to be an opportunity here for someone to make a commission from collecting a refund for this guy , I've had lots of good dealings with good members here on FABO who live south of the border and you can bet your hairy white backside if one of my Canadian brethren stiffed either one of you for 8500 bucks I would'nt hesitate to go ask him what the problem is , and make sure every Mopar guy around knows not to do business with the guy . I made this suggestion knowing there are guys on this board who do have the testicular fortitude to knock on a door and let him know he's not just screwing someone thousands of miles away but crapping in his own yard as well .Sorry if that notion offends you personally .

Doug, as far as I know, the only side to his story is a constant line of excuses, that's been posted here, on FMJ's, moparts, even his own site.
Mark's been ripping people off via the internet for a while now. The $8500 has been the biggest one I can remember right off the bat. There might be one even higher, but my memory is faulty.
On a lot of these things I usually agree with you: there's two sides to every story. On this one, there's not. He's a scam artist, plain and simple.

I bought a short block from Mark on ebay in 2007. As I recall I listened to his excuses for about 15 months while I tried to get him to ship it, :banghead: but I finally got my money back. I think I'm one of the lucky ones. I think he also sold the same engine to Streetwize on Moparts and finally gave him his money back too. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. As far as I'm concerned, the guy is an A$$HAT! I think 99% of what he told me was BS! Didn't realize how widespread all of his crap was. I still have most of the emails that went back & forth between us. I've also been in touch with 79410aspenrt.

Here's the reality of the situation. I tried to help '64 too to no avail. It's easy to talk tough and say stuff but here's the real deal. Here in Colorado you can be shot straight out as a "Trespasser" without legal reason to be on that land, especailly when being threating, no bullshit. Pull out so much as a pocket knife and you can be shot dead, no questions asked. This is most likeley why this dead beat and his girlfriend, wife, sister etc. moved here from the Carolinas. In my research, I found all kinds of ties there plus change of names etc.
Not only do I want to get joe's engine, but I want to see them ALL go to jail and the property auctioned for restitution. I can't promise a damn thing, but i am older and wiser than I was 7 years ago.
