I bought a new year one dash harness from a fellow FABO member to use on my 71 Demon -- well turns out the harness has a straight pin style cluster connector and I need a 9 pin round for my demon. So its up for sale.

The part number I was given when I bought it was no# HU317A list for a 1971 dodge a-body. -- will not work in a demon or with a 9 pin round cluster.

This harness has never been installed.

Yearone has a really good return policy, Have you tried to return it for the right one. I have never had a problem returning stuff even if I had it for a while. They even send a return lable for ups at no cost.
 
If you read my post I did not buy this from year one. I bought it from a fellow FABO member... so regardless of year ones return policy (which you are correct is good) I can't return it to them.
 
Take a look at the wiring diagram for your Demon and compare it to a Dart or Valiant of the same year. I used a Coronet wiring harness in a 69 Charger. The wire colors were the same and I just swapped out the round connector for the blade style connector from a junk harness. I didin't even have to cut a wire, the plug ends just slid out of the connectors....Worth a shot.
 
I Already fixed with another correct harness..... hence why this one is still for sale... I don't need it.

Dash harness for 1971 Dart except 340.
This is a base dash harness only. Chrysler often added separate wire assemblies (each with its own set of connectors and terminals) under separate part numbers, according to a vehicle's final assembly configuration. This dash harness includes the connectors and leads to various switches and electrical components, but not the switches and components themselves.
Since many of these assemblies are not available, you will have to remove the original assemblies from the old harness and install them on the new one. We recommend laying the old harness side-by-side with the new one in order to isolate the additional wire assemblies. Dash harnesses are covered using the factory-style non-adhesive vinyl wrap tape.
