Which transmission was used with the slant 6 to V8 transmission adapter in the early a100 vans? Was it the 904 or 727? I have the adapter and would like to use this it with the appropriate OD transmission in my 87 slant-equipped D100. I'm assuming since the A500 or 518 are based on the 904 & 727, either ought to work since there is plenty of room in the trans tunnel. Comments?
