XE282S in my 408??? Big enough or bigger?

I forgot about my Crane LA CCH 312-2 .528/.552 242/252 @ .050 Hydrolic cam. Wonder if that would be better in the stroker. Im Hoping my income tax wont kill me and I can just bite the bullet and go solid roller. Plan on using what I already own for now.

I'm not familiar with that Crane cam but the lift and dur. at .050 looks good for a mild stroker. Pretty close to the 282XE specs. but it's a hyd. so it may not make quite as much power.
