Ok, I may have seen everything MOPAR now...

ya, I see them on craigslist here in detroit all the time I will buy one one day

I seen one, still in its original crate! My friend has one too gatering parts for a resto. Funny, there was an old snomobile run here in MN about 15 years ago and a guy had a Sno-Runner there, he was driving aroung but it didn't look like it was much fun LOL

Never saw one, but heard of 'em and saw photos in some old mechanics mag when they came out

Incidently, there's an outfit up around my home town making snow conversions for bikes which I'm told really get with it:

How about a Chrysler air raid/ civil defense siren with Hemi power? Down in Oregon saw a Hemi powered rock crusher and irrigation pumps...very old

I worked about 100 yards from one of those hemi powered sirens for years. It was mounted up on a 50 foot tower & painted OD green. It spun around as it ran. Quite a contraption. I always wondered why the put a muffler on something that was built to make that much noise however.

The motorcycle conversion is interesting. Seems to me that newer snowmobiles are pushing triple digit horsepower numbers, but I guess the bikes are lighter too.

Out here in the desert we see all sorts of "snow toys" that people drug with them when they moved. Usually on craigslist after they get tired of stepping over it. I have seen wankel powered snowmobiles, ice fishing gear etc. I just never saw a Chrysler "minibike" for the snow. Used to see a lot of Chrysler outboards though.

Many of those didn't have mufflers

I wish I had a picture of it, last time I saw it run was 1985 or so.

Several of the images on google show the exact unit, with 6 horns. The one mounted on the tower I worked near had a very visible muffler, about as long as the engine doghouse mounted horizontally about a foot above it. We used to look at the muffler and laugh, figured it was some stupid city code that made them install it.

Seems liek I saw an article someplace on the Sno-Runner and it said it had no relation to the Chrysler Corp., but I could be wrong.
I have seen a verticle(valve covers pointing up and down) big block industrial motor in a museum, think it was used to run an irrigation pump. Always wondered how that oiling system worked.

I used to work for a company that made Junpin jack compactors and we put those small chrysler engines on them.
