Wheelie bar cam

Can you get us some pics of your front end? I am building a old Demon that has had the inner fenders cut away and the snout bars added but it only goes to the firewall as of now. How did you reinforce the front end to take the wheelies?

Also can we get shom shots of the wheelie bars? What kind of rear end suspension are you using? What gear are you running? How high do you stall the converter before launching with the trans brake?

I will be running my 416 with a 904 for now and am in the process of figuring what I will do as far as converter / brake / rear gears. Running 1/8th only.

I boxed in the lower control arms and installed firmfeel greasable pins and nylon bushings,I have tubular upper arms with heim joints, adjustable strut rods, QA-1 upper balljoints with longer ballstuds, 11/16 tierods and PST adjusting sleeves and Calvert front shocks. The rear is mini tubbed, ladder bar, dana 60 and 4.56 gears. The trans is a 904 with the 2.77 low gear, Turbo action brake and an 8 inch 5800 stall from Continental converters , the car leaves at 3400 rpm.The tires are 29.5 10.5 phoenixs on 10 inch rims. .Motor is in the stock location. We run qtr mile and the car traps at 7000 rpm. I have a 2.5 inch tall poly stop on the lower control arm to prevent bottomouts when coming down from a big wheelie. Here are a few pics. Here is a front end video, its alittle dark til I hit the go pedal.Pause it at 37 sec or 38 sec to see frontend
