Color options for the trim? Assume dark green for the exterior.

Maybe I am wasting my money but the upholstery shop had a lot of grey leather in stock from an old job and talked me into using it in my 66 Barracuda. The seats look amazing and with the new foam are even comfortable again. I'm using Black carpet and headliner. Now I have to decide on colors for the rest of the car so I can paint the metal parts for reassembly.:glasses7:

I want something unique, not Hemi Orange or Plum Crazy although I like both those colors, something that will stand out in a crowd all by its self. I'm thinking along the lines of dark Greens or Burgundy and since the original color was that baby crap goldish green I am leaning towards green. I will probably choose my color for the exterior from chips at the paint store but for the trim and interior I want something I can pick up in spray cans. Maybe I'll put Barracuda stripes down the middle in the same color as the trim.

I'll post some pics of the seats when I figure out why Windows Vista seems to think that access is denied to my pictures.:mumum:

Personally, I would either go black or body color. Anything else would just look out of place IMO.

I also think it has to be black. I can't see anything else that would work that wouldn't make it look gaudy.

The baby crap goldish green is actually one of my favorite Mopar colors, but it wouldn't go with the gray anyway.

Personally, I love the Citron Gold color, here is my dads 66 :glasses7:

I'm thinking a burgundy or deep red would go very well with your grey interior. There was a gorgeous Charger at MATS a couple of years ago that was that color combo, including the vinyl top and rear stripe and it was very striking.
I'll see if I can find the pic and post it.

(12/10) Found the pics from the 2009 MATS. I think this is a beautiful color combo...and not one you see everyday

With a 2 tone black and grey interior ANY exterior color would match.

Dark dark metallic green or a deep red would work perfect with that interior color

body color or black; that grey looks really out of place in an older car and thats why most newer cars look bland inside

What about a nice yellow? Doesn't have to be super bright or crisp. It could even be a bit of sick yellow.=D>

I would dye the leather to the color you want it; but grey has no place in an antique car
