I say go heavier. Generally, light wheels are for light, low geared cars with a LOT of HP. Heavy flywheels prevent low end bog, and with a "little" engine will help more than hurt.

Also, larger (as in 360 or BB) engines have more rotating mass, a flywheel in itself, and require "more clutch" which adds THAT amount, and therefore can easily use a light wheel.


There just might be a reason!!!! that the factory put those big wheels in factory cars.
