Air shocks..why?

BITD , we used to cut off the last 4" of our old shocks and slip 1 1/2 " of them over the bottom of the new air shocks and weld them on. resulting in an additional 2 - 2 1/2 inches of lift , pump 50 pounds of air in them and maintain a killer ride with a nice rake. then proceed to hot rod the piss out of them cars.

That what I was thinkin of doin to the air shocks in the duster just picked up cause it has a decent pair of "Skyjackers" under it
