Sadly, "we" will forget...just as we forgot about Columbine, Virginia Tech, Gabby Giffords, etc, etc, etc... yes, these incidents have been in the news this past week but we'll move on and do nothing about the problems that provide the opportunities for these tragedies.
Our culture has the memory duration of a goldfish.
