Original Color or change #2

That might have been the same color as my 1st car. 67 Barracuda with dark blue interior and black vinyl top.

I hated the color so it got painted dark metallic blue in 1974, didn't give a sh*t about correct, value or collectability

Hell it was my 1st car, I was 15 who cares

Today if I was making the same decision, it still wouldn't be light blue, I STILL HATE IT, and don't care for the color on my daily driver mustang since it is a light met blue, darker than my 67 cuda, but still a light blue.

I do get a LOT of women that say they love the color

Might make the cuda a chick magnet leaving it the light blue.

What ever you do, do it because you like it, it isn't going to change the value of the car much either way. Will cost more for color change.

When you decide what color to paint it and you want extra metallic in it request that before they order the paint. I have seen many a paint jobs that have extra sparkle because of extra flake . A buddy put ground glass in his paint talk about sparkle.
