1969 Barracuda 'Options'

My 69 FB has the E55 package. 340, 4bbl, heavy suspension and shocks, KH Disc, PS,PB, Decor interior, Auto, buckets, console, sport dash, rear defrost, stripe delete, radio delete. 340-S emblems on the front fender, grey grill surround and reg rear trim, no S badge and not blacked out.

The book shows 1230 originally produced. I wonder how many are left?

Seams like 69 was the only year you could get the 340 without a "package".

WARFARE,

Thats sounds perfectly correct.

The Code #E55 (340 Engine Package) came through with the 'Heavy Duty
Suspension' as part of the Code #E55.

* Firm-Ride (1" Piston Shocks)
* Heavy-Duty Ball Joints
* 6-Leaf Rear Springs
* 8 3/4" Rear
* Front Sway-Bar
* .870" Torsion Bars
* '340-S' Front fender emblem

Most, if not all of these cars came through with whitewall tires and full wheel covers, and the column-shifted automatic.

Also, many of these cars with this package ended up as Dealership 'Sales
Manager' cars. Then after 6000 miles, they would put them on the
dealership 'Used Car Lot'
