2011 Troiano's Mopar Show - Colchester, CT

Walt Felix,now there's a name that sounds familiar !! Maybe next time we're in Ct,I'll have to give a shout and say hey personally !! Was born in New Haven,raised in Hamden !!
 
I know I'm way late on this one...but is this an annual show?
 
Dude,...I did not know you are a member...Is the show still on for 8/13,....

I worked there back inna 90's when It was Hilltop...
 
I have not seen our 2013 show schedule yet, but it usally is always on the same weekend every year. I was there this year with the duster, and won A body- modified class.
 
I hit their show at Artioli Dodge in enfield last year, and they sponsored a Mopar night at Marks classic cruise nights .
 
Artioli Dodge is a great show too, but I missed that one this year, as it always seems to fall on the same day as Southbury CT training school, fall show, and I really like that show, so I went there.
 
Fanofpetty..Do most of the cruise/shows with the gtx, the dart is mostly the kids dd. Haven't gone real far with the x yet, runs a little warm in the summer have to get a fan shroud on her. Plus the fact of about 8 mpg that heavily cammed 440 with 3500 stall and 4.10's isn't the best distance cruiser. Kid keeps say we have to hook up with you and do some cruisin sometime...maybe we can hook up sometime next year..:thumblef: Would love to see your cars, the bird is my dream car!!
 
That'd be great.....I'd love to do a little cruzin ! I generally bring my superbird, or Lil red express to these shows, as my duster is much like your GTX.....not a great long distance car, with 4:30 gears and a big cam. I trailered it to the Troiano show this year, as it's about an hour and a half from home.
 
We should be having our next meeting very soon. If next year's show schedule is ready I will post it here.

Ok... so I have more incentive to get my Dart in roadworthy shape again! I wouldn't dare show up in the V8 Ford. :p

Were you just out to Marks cruise nite on Monday ? There was a car there, parked just a couple away from me, that looks just like the car in your avatar. ( I had the lime green 71 duster 340)
 
yes that was my dart swinger. you interested in going to a car show in lake geogre ny sept 6th thru the 8th?

I'm going to try to make it to Colchester for the MIM show ( I'm a member ) but I'll be trailering which ever car I deciede to bring as it's an hour and a half away from me, and my steep gears don't allow for highway cruising very well...LOL! Sorry, I'm not headed up to Lake George for the adirondack Nats in Sept. A buddy of mine had a car get stolen from there right out of the parking lot from his hotel, a few years ago, so it kinda soured me on leaving any of my cars unattended overnight, in hotel parking lots.
 
thats the first i've heard of anything like that happening. too bad a few has to spoil it for the rest. it is an awsome show. anyway i hope to see ya at the mim show. i've been thinking of goining a club. undecided at the time. ok i'll talk to ya later, mike
 
You should really consider joining M.I.M. There are a great bunch of guys, and gals, and we have 5 shows at different dealerships throughout connecticut, every year, and there all completely free for all members. We also have a great winter party, and Ralph also organizes a yearly cruize through senic connecticut usally in the fall of the year. I think you'd really enjoy the club.
