Show Us Pictures of 2nd Generation Barracudas

67 Barracuda, father and daughter project. Mainly, I'm just a helper and he's the one who knows what he's doing.

That's the original blue in very bad condition. It came with steelies so we got those 15" mags. We tried to use a pair of 14" rocket racing wheels but it was impossible to find another pair. They might be up for sale locally (Inland Empire) if we don't feel like keeping them around.

These were the rocket wheels. I really liked the old school look but it was impossible to find another pair. We had 3 but one of them was cracked. :sad10:

Right after the steering wheel install. I found that Grant wheel just sitting at the junkyard for 10 dollars. Then I bought the spacer, horn button and install kit online.

My awesome dad rebuilt the engine. I got to paint the stuff. This might be a stereotypical girl thing, but it took me forever to think of a color scheme for everything. At first I bought VHT engine enamel but I returned it after reading that it doesn't come out so good if you don't cook it. I'm not sure if this is true. I used duplicolor cast coat iron, cast coat aluminum, and universal gold. I picked sort of neutral colors since I didn't want to end up with a hot pink engine and bright green car (I don't know what color it will be painted, probably dark purple). :color:

The latest pic I have. Since this pic, it has been sanded down and the body work has been completed. Tomorrow I'm going to buy supplies to make door panels and a package tray. If it turns out okay, I might do my first write up when everything is done .
