Generally speaking, are A-Bodies "dorky?"

It's the images of years gone by. If they weren't the hi performace versions of the cars, w/ the possible exception of the Barracuda, then think about who mostly drove these cars. Grandma! That's the problem! People still think of them as a practical, low budget car driven mostly by old folks. If you had seen one driven by a young person back in the day you might think "aah they got that car from an old lady." We know the whole light car big engine concept, but the rest of the world still thinks of it as a granny car. That's why we need to build more of them & show them wrong!

Exactly what I was thinking. There are many A Bodies that look really cool. They have been modded for drag racing or pro-touring or just cruising...but they have been modded. A "Grandpa Green" Dart with skinny factory tires and dog dish hubcaps will never have the appeal of a"Grandpa Green" SuperBee with skinny factory tires and dog dish hubcaps.
If someone would have told me years ago I would own a yellow Dart I would have told them thet were on crack. After doing B and E bodies for years this Dart (yes its modded) caught my eye. But, I respect anyone who likes to keep their car all original.
Some are just a little dorkier than others.:poke::toothy8:
