My 67 barracuda needs a speedo that works correctly, so I would like to go from the 120 MPH to a 150. I would prefer the angeled numbers from 67/68 but I think the straight numbers from 69(?) to 70 or 72 would look fine also.
Let me know what you are wanting......see whats out there! Thanks!

Andrew, The 1967 takes a screw on cable and the 1968 up takes a push on cable. Unless you change more parts than the speedometer you are stuck with a 1967 speedometer.

I will go out and look tomorrow, I swear when I put the car back together 4 years ago, it had the clip......but I could be totally wrong.LOL I guess I could get a cable also with the speedo to make sure it all works.

Doesn't really make any difference 67-68 both cables are available and not expensive.I do have a 67 w trip meter if that is what you are looking for.

Don't order a cable from Rock Auto because it is way too long. Contact Steve a/k/a 4spdragtop on this site for the details and where he finally found the correct length cable for his dad's car.

The speedometers can be repaired, input port swap from one type to the other, You can buy a 150 mph screen decal from the aftermarket too.

D5667/Donnie is right, I bought a new leftover from a member here that bought one from Laysons or Yearone and it was $50 for my 69 cuda(same as 68) Got one for dads and it was $11(dads is 67 cuda auto/console)

Thanks Bill, yep I even called the manufacturer (ATP) about it. Rock Auto is where we bought dads 1st one for $11. And $26 to ship!! So we get the wrong one(not our fault we followed their onscreen flowchart) and they will credit the purchase price only..So we said screw it and kept it. Anyway the part #'s from ATP are Y803 or Y804...Lemme do some digging and get you the right part #.Oh ya the wrong one was 83"...20" too long!!!

Thanks everyone!
I had looked at the decal face swap, but only found white ones....my speedo is off( I am sure its the speedo gear in trans, and should be right w/ a 150) and the milage moves ovr like 10 miles at a time, and the trip meter isnt working. So it would need to be serviced anyhow.Figured finding a good working one would be about the same as finding a place to do all the work to my old one.
I have a couple pm's out to people, hope to hear back, and get this going.
Just a FYI-My car is a 273 w/ a 4 speed. The 4 speed is not origional to the car, and the 273 will be leaving maybe this month for a 360.
Again, thanks for the help!!

I cant do white.....as my car was "done" already.LOL But I am never really done.LOL

I saw one for sale here on the site very recently. It was nice IIRC.
