Wanted: Welding Tools

I know that it starts at one end and ends at the other.

Thats what I thought too, but really it doesn't. The surface rust may be everywhere, but that cleans up quick and you can narrow down where the real work is. I got at mine with a coarse wire brush wheel on a drill and cleaned up an area till i could see what was good and not. Cut out the rot holes, weld a patch... I used rustoleum primer and top coat on most of it (no 'converter'). Some areas are done over 3 years now and not seeing any rust coming back.

I need to get a build thread started myself, hope to start that this week.

Like your car. I had one (same color) in mid 80's.
