MOPAR GRAVEYARD!!! North Carolina

I happened along to this site after looking up Billy, only to find he passed away. I have many memories of going to his place out in the middle of nowhere, back in the 70's. People wouldn't even tell you where his place was . If you were fortunate enough to go there even then, once he let you in his barn, out the back door you would see a field of mopar race cars from 63 on up. I first met him when he ran the "Virginia Twister" on the Fx circuit. He was a character,HE EITHER LIKED YOU, OR HE WOULD TELL YOU TO GET OFF HIS PROPERTY in a little more colorful format. If your a mopar fan this is pure heaven, I haven't been there in 20 years, but when I go back this summer, I'm going to take a trip to his place. I'm sure it's changed, but I still remember all the hemi engine's and transmissions he had sitting on the barn floors. He's definitely, missed, one of "the good old boy's".I'm sure he and Sox and Nicholson have a lot to talk about and if there's a race track in heaven, you can bet they're there. If a bunch of the old cars are still there, you can see the names he raced under.
