The Flying Valiant: 1964 Valiant V100

I promised myself (and several members here) I would share the progress on fixing up my Valiant. I promised I'd start as soon as the reassembly started, and...I almost did. So, better late than never, I guess. I'm not very far into the project, so catching up should be fast.

First, for those who care...a quick history:

April, 1997. Plymouth Valiant converts a Mustang fanboy at first site.

Painted in 2000. Here we are in the college campus parking lot in 2002.

Disc brakes August 2006. My first major project on the car.

Daily driven until 2011, when some jerk cut me off. A bad transmission mount caused the engine to bang into the firewall. I started to take the radiator out. Then I kept taking parts off.

I may have gotten a little carried away.

A little rotisserie blasting later...

This is about where we are. A friend and I got the rear frame rail patched. The front frame rail is 95%.

Thanks to this forum, I have most of the parts I need to start putting the body back together. I'll do my best to keep you updated on the trials and tribulations that go with the restoration. Here goes nothin'.
