Yes, Denmark is awesome! I was there in June. Fabulous! I've fallen in love with Copenhagen.

Enjoy!

I have plenty more, but this is what I took with my I phone tonight. I have been in Vienna Austria all week and just got to Copenhagen Denmark this morning. We have been hosted by a UK company every night and have ran up quite the bar bill. LOL I have to represent us Yanks. I have been in engineering meetings everyday with very little time to sight see, but have seen some amazing places.

Had dinner in a restaurant in Vienna that dates back to the 1,400s and a church that dates back to 1,100 AD. People here are insanely friendly and most speak english.

Amazing food and scenery.

Frankie, I can't get over how friendly everyone is. The girls in this pic are the hardest working girls I have ever seen. They did everything in the pub, cooked the food, served the food, prepared drinks, carried up firewood from the basement and entertained us all night. I can't see american girls do this and be happy. What else do you recommend here? We are staying at the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel?????

Wow very cool you get to experience life in Denmark. It is really eye-opening. I always say if you don't hurt yourself a little, you're not really having fun!

Denmark has some pretty damn tough immigration requirements, one reason I don't understand (other than getting votes from their Latino buddies) why the pansy-assed U.S. govt is so damn quick to "give away the farm."

Love the church pictures, breathtaking artwise. Watch that Jager-version liquor.Nice to hear from you, please enjoy. And don't rent the midget rooms.....

Admiral is a great place. We stayed at the Strand on the Waterfront. If you have a half day to kill, there is a really good Viking Museum about a half hour train ride outside of Copenhagen that's worth a visit.

...and make sure to run down to the Water front and take the obligatory photo with the little Mermaid. lol

be careful not to get stuck in a bike lane when the traffic signal turns green, too!

And take the canal tour. It's really good. there is also a few hundred spires and steels to photograph, and some are really unusual. Twisted spires, steeples with spiral staircases on the outside....

...This past summer my wife and I took about 2 1/2 weeks and hit, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Bergen Norway. Traveled around mostly by train, and boat, instead of flying.

Don't know which airline you took to get there, but I can tell you with out reservation, SAS is wonderful. We flew business class, and it made an 8 hour flight very comfortable.

Old seems to take on new meaning in Europe, for Americans anyway...

You got that right! A few years ago I had the chance to go to Crete on business for 10 days. The only time I was needed for work was the 2nd and 9th days of the trip so the rest of the time my wife and I played "tourist". It was amazing to see old Greek ruins that were built on top of older Roman ruins that were built on top of even older Greek ruins. The ruins of the Palace of Minos at Knossos was incredible - and to think it was completed about 1900 B.C. boggles the mind.
We had a long layover in Athens on our return and I was fortunate to be able to book a half-day tour in a private Mercedes taxi with a guy who lived in New York for over 20 years. He took us to the Acropolis and other ancient sites in Athens that I could have spent days at. I told him that, as Americans, it's difficult to fathom the age and history of those ancient cultures since the oldest things we have in America are trees (the Redwoods, Sequoias and Bristlecone pines here in California).
Enjoy your trip and see as much as possible!

When I was 16 my mom offered to take me to Europe and travel by train, or go to Florida....guess where this dumbass picked....:violent1: regret going to Florida(no offense Floridians) every day. Those are beautiful pics/women!! Im of Swedish heritage and would love to go someday.

Aaah Scandinavia. Yeah 1900bc is pretty old. They just found a tree in Sweden that is 9500 years old. The Scando's have it pretty good...except for winter.
