Im looking for a CNC or Waterjet company that will cut objects (1/4" steel gussets) from CAD designs I can supply.

Hoping somebody here might know a company I could contact, its a small order for some gussets I want for my race-car.

I am a 3D CAD draftsman in the construction industry so I can provide any templates needed.

Was using it more as a generality sorry. But yes CNC plasma table would work too, or CNC router.

I didn't mean to get picky. :) I just wanted to clarify for anyone who might see the thread.

I can't think of anyone I trust around my area, hopefully someone here can help.

:coffee2:

Check Craigslist in your area for CNC services. I found a guy close to mine that does great work at very good prices. Might be worth a look for you.

How big are the parts and how many? Doesn't seam like CAD designs would be needed. At my old job we would make parts from hand drawings on napkins! Unless your gussets are pretty inticate in some way a basic scetch and dimentions is all that's needed. Just realize that a water jet will not give you a nice square edge compared to a machined edge. Maybe if your welding the gussets in you don't care how square the edges are? Let me know, my old work place might do them or another guy has a couple of CNC mills at home.
