Edelbrock/cast head flow numbers?

I was going to say I can't see how they'd be legal with the valve sizes...lol. Nevermind the port volume. If you have to run a factory head I'd run the 308s. If this is a class deal you will want to have the guides done, then the valve job done and you should have it done by a performance shop. There is a lot of flow to be gained with the right valve job and top of the line equipment. Stock valves are terrible in terms of the seat cut and accuracy and that's where most of the power will come from. A good valve job can give you a "free" 10-15cfm and in a limited class that's big. Pair them with a custom camshaft from someone that knows Stock Eliminator work - and you should be styling.
