Time for Oil Change - Recommendation

It seems like if clearances were your max pressure issue, it would get better with thicker oil. I think possibly your pressure relief valve in your oil pump is weak.

My 4.7 dakota when fully warmed up, runs at the min "mark" when idling and the max "mark" when running at 3000 + rpms. I run 5w30 napa full syn and napa platinum syn filter. It behaves like the oil press relief valve kicks in at the max mark. What ever those marks indicate, who knows.

Ive been told the lo pressure @ idle is no big deal but like seeing the better pressure.
