That car would show up at Pomona and run for Class with it being the ONLY MOPAR in the field, with 8 or 9 Chevys (327 and 350-powered Camaros and Novas) and usually walk away with Class honors.

Originally owned by Mopar Pro Stock standout Jim Meyer, it was sold to Steve Winter in about 1978. Terry Esslinger drove it while Steve owned it, and the engine work was done by Larry Hollums, in Fremont (CA.)

Then, it was sold to the Hahn-Loge-Winter team and just continued to get faster and quicker.

Len Schneider did the transmissions for it,

Those guys REALLY knew what they were doing.
