Never trust anyone's OOTB head to be good OOTB. I recommend you take any head, from any manufacture, to a trusted mechanic and have him check the guide clearance, seats and valves, spring tension, retainers and locks. 440 Source is trying, but their locks, even if it is said they are Comp Cams, should be replaced with good 10 degree stuff.
