Well..the sun came out for most of the day...a bit windy...cross wind ...but no rain or snow saving those from MATS...

anyway, got the two cars out to the track with no issues...

Was interested in 71 Dart since I put a new front end parts on it...RMS UCA, RMS adjustable strut rods, some new bushings, and Strange Disc Brakes, probably took a good 50+ lbs off the front it...

First pass was in n out of the gas 10.937 @ 122.41 as the front end coming up and the car getting a little squirrelly off the starting line...I know the track was prepped to National Event calliper...LOL..

Second pass...she legs the car all the way to a new best of 10.772 @ 123.67....

Third pass......again a new best at 10.719 @ 124.43.......

The air varied between 3500 and 4000 ft.....was hoping for better air today...but low BARO

My Demon which has not run since Sacramento back in Sept ...was saddly left behind with a 11.02 and 11.04 runs....in it defense..I never changed the jets from sea level...but the race was free...so hauled it out there...

I raced my Daughter in her 71 Dart...she left on me and out ran me...film at 11....

Will post a couple of videos latter tonight...after I get them upload on Youtube..

damn tony, she treed ya.lol nice.hey no team orders at the santo's house.:thumbrig:

Tony it looks like your daughter tree'd you again. LOL Looks like too much fun. Rub it in won't ya, some of us have to work on Sunday. I'm hoping to see you again at the MATS.

Tony....what is the rear tire combo on the Dart? Springs moved? Backspace?

Thanks

both cars have ladder bars with coil over springs.....Dart has 10 x 29 Hoosier on 15 x 8 with 4.5 BS and the rear has been narrow 2 inches on each side.

Demon has 10.5 x 29.5 MT on 15 x 10 with 5.5 BS and has been narrow..I think 1.5 inches on each side..

Both cars have full tubs...and both cars take a bigger tire if needed.

Tony, she really treed ya; 157 vs 032. Ya gotta watch those youngsters, they'll get ya everytime. LOL Both cars seem to leave really well for small tired cars. I hope my 10.5 Demon leaves that well.

You gotta let the kids win one once in a while...lol

The 360 in that Dart has a Weiand X-celerator intake on it...i wanted to use a Eddy Victor but with the open chamber heads and block being cut, the victor would not fit...Now I have acquired a Victor that will fit...Kind of dont really want to mess with it now...LOL

The Weiand has been rubbed and dubbed at bit too..

i like the wieand intake.i had one that i worked on alot.my buddy jim sold it at one of the swaps.way better than a torker...
