A recent thread got me "re-interested" in the possibility of putting the rubber flooring in my 69 Dart vert.

Reason: Gets driven to beach (sand) and baseball fields (clay/dirt) and thought it would be easier to vacuum/keep clean. Most of it gets caught by the mats- BUT the beach sand gets to be a pain... espec with a 7yr old and a dog!!! Its not and will never be a show-car... its driven and enjoyed.
Concerns: Moisture getting trapped between flooring and floor pan creating potential addtl rust issues.

Anybody have this in your car and can share a pic and would appreciate thoughts/feedback?

Heres the link:

Thanks

I have contacted a customer agent at ACC and they don't recommend their vinyl flooring as they say it looses shape easily after coming out of the mold.

They are the manufacturer of the Year One vinyl flooring.

Trim Parts has vinyl flooring too as a 1 piece under color code "401 Black Vinyl" if you order part number 53637-401 for a 4 speed and 53638-401 for all others.

If you call them they will send you a sample of their material.

The vinyl flooring (option 401) is in the 80/20 Style Raylon Loop Pile Carpet Section of Dodge Dart carpet within the Mopar Authentic Restoration Products items.

I have my sample on order and I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the look of the material.

Yes, direct from Trim Parts is $185 with free shipping included to the U.S.

On ebay they are around $149 including free shipping.

Check out mattsclassicbowties on ebay.

Or type in: 67-76 Dodge Dart Molded Carpet Trim Parts USA Made

Look at the very bottom of the mattsclassicbowties auction and you will see color option 401 for black vinyl.

I asked Trim Parts if they would match mattsclassicbowties price and they said no in order to protect their dealers.

Trim Parts sells at retail price and their dealers can sell at a discounted price.
