How bout now?

Lol! Man you ain't lyinnn!!

Ok, I'll check and post back in here.

Trying to get it ready for paint. I have all the driveline except the Driveshaft and Converter. Waiting for parts I ordered to complete the rest of the fab work that needs to be done. The fuel cell is one that I need to finish up the trunk. I just ordered a Windshield Wiper Motor from a 06 Charger. The motor will mount inside the car up under the dash. It makes for a pretty clean install. This way you can clean up your engine bay and still have wipers!!

is there an article on using the wiper motor to hide it

Just got word that my Fuel Cell is done and has shipped out by FEDEX.

Peak dashes has emailed me and my dash did NOT meet QC so it has been sent back to the welder. The WELDER is on Crack. 2 of the cylinders that house the gauges were not FLUSH with the dash and he welded them anyway. IDIOT:sign3: Dang it......:banghead:

What the hell? Are they buried in orders over there or something and he was in a rush? Why oh why would a guy do that....

Yeah, Tig Welding is a slow process as it is. It takes more time to set up than to actually do the welding. I don't understand either.

whats really bad is there only working on the two dashes and screwed both of them up

Well my fuel cell should be here tomorrow! I also just heard my dash is finally done too! Dash should be in my possession in a few days. This weekend hopefully I can get the trunk all mocked up and done finally!

I have been spending a few hours every morning this week cleaning up my shop gettin it ready for the body & paint guy. Been averaging about 500sq ft of floor space a day.

the welder didn't weld something on mine and they had to bring it back again maybe the third time will be a charm

Thought I would share some information about putting your car on Body Dolly's. For sure put the back ones on FIXED "NON SWIVEL" wheels using only swivel wheels on the front. I moved my car today and what a pain in the *** the rear was to move with the Swivel wheels. I am going to swap them out to Fixed wheels ASAP. It felt like the wheels were going to buckle over and bend, I ended up using a jack on one side of the rear to assist it. Fixed wheels are going on before the car gets moved again!!

I am about 3/8 of the way cleaning up the shop. 10 Hours in it so far. Damn

Mad Dart,

I'm enjoying watching the progress of your build. Let me just say that your garage is equally impressive! I would love to have a garage like that. What's the square footage & ceiling height?

All that shop needs is a hoist! Wow im so jealous Louis! I have 10 ft ceilings in mine, sucks but im grateful I have what I have.

What I meant was no matter how big it is we would find a way to pack it full, one way or the other. The shop is on my property in a separate building.

The house has an attached 6 car garage that is 1450 Sq ft & 12' ceilings, it has 2 cars in it and the rest is useless stuff like bicycles, golf cart, old beds, some furniture, house repair stuff etc. Every garage I've ever had was packed with stuff no matter what the size.

That is a basic LAW of mancaves. I have 5 airplane hangars - full of crap. 2 used to be rented out for airplanes and after the tenents left I got into this hobby and now 2 are full of A body junk.

Yeah I need a Lift in there. They are not that expensive either probably around $2500.00 or so new. Might be able to get a better price on one used.

The shop is 3000 Sq Ft. It has 4 roll up doors that are 14' x 14', The ceiling height is 16'. You can drive a 40' Diesel Pusher Motorhome in and out of it. Bathroom, Shower, Laundry Room, Instant Hot Water Heater, Central Vacuum System, 2-Soft hot water spigots for washing cars. 2-RV Plugs, 2-80amp 220V welder plugs, Sewer Dump. Wired for TV, Internet, Subwoofer and 4 ceiling speakers. 2 Shop ceiling fans that throw some serious air. 6 air outlets in the walls etc. It just needs to be organized a bit better. I have storage above the bath and laundry room that I need to utilize. Hard as hell to keep clean if you slack off on it like me. :banghead:

Yup it don't matter how big it is anyone would fill them up with a bunch on non sense. That is so true! I get first place in that arena.

That is a thing of beauty Louis. BTW I hate you, because we have 6' snow drifts here from my snow blower. LOL

Yeah it gets about 39* at night but it has been warmer than normal around 72* in the day. It has been mostly 52* or so in the day time lately with the low under 32*. Ice and Frost but no snow, it never snows here except in a blue moon.

thats one of the cleanest fuel cells i've seen i was looking at them for a while decided not to go that route but that one looks better than the ones i had found on line
