My restoration 73 duster

Ok so all the sanding of the day is completed . Now I masked of the area that needed to be primed.

And last thing of the day re-prime the sanded areas. I use RM epoxy primer which has a 4 to 1 primer to hardner mix.covers well and fills well.

Got the hood,roof,both sides and the back panel all sanded today
only needed to re prime the passenger quarter. Good Day.
 
Was able to get some time today . Sprayed the door jams and under the rockers and both rockers. Plan is to mask her off and apply paint will try to take pictures as the painting takes place. Wish me luck!!

Ok now the base coat mixed 1 to 1 with reducer sprayed at 25-30psi

Ok now the clear 4parts clear 1 part hardner 1 part reducer spray presure
40psi. I will be spraying the matt black I hope tomorrow

That engine sounds very nice , cutouts are awesome , great job, nice build.I see you did not use the old steering wheel , Might be interested if price is right, but not sure where you are in the u.s , i am in Canada my dart sport has the same b5 interior .

Unmasked then masked then sprayed Matt.
Matt is a little tricky First spay the black base with a 1 to 1 paint and reducer at 25- 30 psi. Then mix the matt 7parts to 4 parts clear then 1 part hardner 1 part reducer and spray at 40 psi. I will unmask in the next couple days and click a couple pictures.

Black unmasked,installed the hood scoope,striped car, installed grill andheadlights and side markers. good day. This will be it for a while need to save for some more goodies but will show you as they arrive.Thank you all for the coments that kept me inspired to take the time on this project. But for now I have been off work since last friday and my brother is getting tired
so back to the grime .

Been subscribed since the start and pop in every once in awhile to see the progress. Looks great!. Nothing like bringing an old mopar back to life!.

One question though. Hard telling if it's just the picture or what.... But is the black more flat like a black primer rather than a matte/satin finish?.

Even so it looks great. Going to look even better when it's sitting on a set of wheels and tires!. Good job!
