15x7 steelies question

anyone running stock mopar 15x7 steelies on all four corners of your darts? or any other a-body? i am worried they will be to wide for the front? thanks guys!

What do you mean by stock? Is it poverty rims or anything that Mopar sold? Rims are just part of the deal. Tire width makes a difference. Supposedly, factory disk brakes widened things out a little bit as well.

I'm running 15 x 7 Magnum 500s (styled steel, offered on C-bodies in the 15" size) on a '73 Dart with factory disk brakes. The tires are 205/60-15. There has been no problem with rubbing anywhere at any time.

The '72 Demon has a '75 front end with disk brakes under it. The wheels are 15 x 7 Mopar Cop car. Using 235/60-15 T/As there is no problem in the back. Up front, I set the front fenders as far out as they would go and still maintain an acceptable gap between them and the hood. No problem with rubbing.

I tried 255/60-15s on the Demon, too. There was less than ¼" between the rear springs and the inner sidewall of the tire. Up front, no amount of fender fiddling would keep the tires from bouncing off the lip of the fender in turns.

Both sets of wheels have 4¼" offset, for what it's worth.
